Timothy Richardson
Founder & Executive Director, E.P.I.D.E.M.E.K.
Restorative Justice Advocate | Reentry Leader | Master Trainer

Timothy Richardson is the Founder and Executive Director of E.P.I.D.E.M.E.K., where he leads bold, community-rooted initiatives that empower restored citizens with access to safe housing, reentry education, and policy advocacy. His work is grounded in lived experience and fueled by a vision to reduce recidivism, shift public policy, and build systems where justice-involved individuals are treated with dignity and opportunity.

At E.P.I.D.E.M.E.K., Timothy oversees the R.O.S.E.S. Housing Program (Reentry Opportunities through Support, Empowerment, and Shelter), develops restorative justice curricula, forges strategic partnerships, and builds community infrastructure that transforms survival into sustainability. Under his leadership, the organization is rapidly expanding its footprint in Central Ohio with a long-term goal of housing 100+ restored citizens across 15 homes while shaping state-level policy to classify restored citizens as a protected class.

In addition to his work with E.P.I.D.E.M.E.K., Timothy is a nationally respected motivational speaker and master trainer. His programs — such as Man Up, My Brother’s Keeper, and 7th Step — have helped countless individuals reframe their thinking, rebuild their confidence, and rediscover their worth.
Timothy’s path to leadership began while incarcerated. His first sentence of 10 years taught him what systems fail to provide. His second sentence transformed him — through education, accountability, and a commitment to serve others. That personal breakthrough has become a public mission.

He currently serves as a Project Director with the Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program of Franklin County (UMADAOPFC), sits on the Board of Directors for the Franklin County Community-Based Correctional Facility (CBCF), and holds credentials as an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist and CDCA-certified practitioner.
Whether he's speaking from a prison yard, policy steps, or boardroom, Timothy’s message is clear: restoration is real, and justice must lead to opportunity.

She brings unmatched experience, empathy, and lived perspective to her work, building systems that prioritize healing, empowerment, and accountability.

Designed to provide restored citizens with safe, dignified transitional housing, R.O.S.E.S. (Reentry Opportunities through Support, Empowerment, and Shelter) is rooted in her personal experience and professional mission: to create spaces where individuals can rebuild their lives without judgment or barriers.

Beyond reentry housing, Summerlee also leads specialized programs for children of incarcerated parents, helping young people navigate trauma, strengthen self-esteem, and access long-term mentorship. Her work centers around breaking generational cycles through direct support, education, and emotional development.

With more than a decade of service in behavioral health, recovery, and reentry systems, Summerlee is a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist, Certified Peer Support Specialist, and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant. She’s certified in WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) and is widely respected for her raw, dynamic communication style in treatment programs, prisons, schools, and public events.

Her signature trainings — including Road Mapping Your Goals and Effective Communication in Hostile Environments — equip people with emotional intelligence, practical skills, and long-term self-management tools. During her seven-year incarceration, Summerlee earned vocational credentials in drywalling and painting, completed culinary training, and pursued college coursework in business — refusing to let her sentence define her story. Since returning home, she has made it her mission to walk beside others seeking a way forward.

Academically, she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Organizational Business Management and an additional Master’s in Marketing. As a former Marketing Director and Business Consultant, she empowers small businesses and nonprofits with strategic tools for growth and sustainability.
